SSO with AI Triage

Tip

When a patient completes AI triage on the client platform, the client can pass the triage result to MDLIVE in the same SAML 2.0 assertion already used for SSO.
MDLIVE uses these values to send the patient directly to the right care experience after sign-in.

Caution

All AI Triage attributes are optional.
AI Triage routing is used ONLY when aitriagetranscriptid is sent.
If aitriagetranscriptid is not sent, MDLIVE uses the standard SSO redirect and ignores all other AI Triage attributes.
An invalid AI Triage value never blocks sign-in.
MDLIVE ignores the invalid value and continues.

Format: IANA Time Zone ID Example: America/New_York Rules: This is the same format used by OpenID Connect (zoneinfo), SCIM (timezone), Okta, Auth0, and HL7 FHIR. Do NOT send abbreviations (EST, EDT, CST, PST) or offsets (-05:00, GMT-5). They are ignored. Daylight saving time is handled automatically. Send the same ID all year. Example: A patient in Miami is always America/New_York, in both winter (EST) and summer (EDT). Base the value on the patient’s actual location, NOT on the state.
